Scinic Honey All In One Ampoule

Y'all, I'm trying to finish the Vitamin C post, I swear.  I just get so drained working on it, I burn out and pretend I don't have a blog for a couple of days before repeating.  It's actually ~80% done, if that's any consolation.  Also, I got SnapChat now, and I post some DIY stuff on there.  My handle on there is "theonetruesnail" if anyone wants to follow along.  I've been posting on Instagram a lot, if anyone wants to follow me on there too.  I'm also revising how I review products, and am in the process of going back and standardizing my old reviews.  Today though, I'll be reviewing something I'm pretty excited about, the Scinic Honey All-In-One Ampoule that I got from my first Avecko order.

Hada Labo Shirojyun Arbutin Lotion Review

When I first got started with AB, I discovered Skin & Tonics, and her amazing routines, and the /r/AsianBeauty/ sub on Reddit.  And everybody loves the Hada Labo Gokujyun Hyaluronic Acid Lotion.  So I snagged it off of Amazon, and was prepared to be amazed.  I got blackheads instead.  I still wanted to try Hada Labo, so I kept my eye out, and eventually decided I needed the Hada Labo Shirojyun Arbutin Lotion instead.  It even has better ingredients!

Review: Etude House Moistfull Collagen Skin

Isn't it odd how there are so many different names for one product?  Especially with skincare, and even more so in Korean skincare.  A toner, for example, can be called "toner" (natch), or a skin,  freshener, softener, hydrator, lotion, or a myriad of other names.  I wonder if it's an effort to make consumers buy all the things (!), or if everybody wants to distinguish themselves, or the Google Translate just changes its mind depending on what they throw in.

Today, I will be reviewing Etude House's toner from their Moistfull Collagen line.  They call it a "Skin" on their website, but it says "Facial Freshener" on the bottle.  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯  I've just reviewed the Lotion of this line.  Will the Skin do any better?

Review: Etude House Moistfull Collagen Lotion

Have you ever bought something, and it works just fine, but it makes you so annoyed every time you look at it?  That's how I feel about Etude House's Moistfull Collagen line.  And the thing is, it's not their fault.  It's mine.

A Rant on OST's C20 and C21.5 Serums, and Some Thinky Thoughts on Vitamin C

Hi everyone!  I ran out of my OST C20 a couple of weeks ago, and have been debating DIY vs rebuying, or at least buying a different Vitamin C serum to tide me over.  Now, I'm not a chemist - taking a couple of chemistry classes in college does not a chemist make - but I did do some research into Vitamin C, and what I've found is kind of upsetting.

Haul: Beautynetkorea makeup essentials

I am doing my Mother's Day shopping early, ...because it gives me an excuse to break my no-buys (I know, I know).  But in my defense, I kind of had to try out some other stores, for the sake of the blog...yes...that sounds good.

Anyway, this isn't a very big haul.  I picked up some makeup that I've been needing, seeing how all of my makeup is like 8 years old.

Haul: Cleansing balms and fruit from 11st!

I actually got this last weekend, but got so caught up with paperwork and some family business, that I completely forgot to post this.  I took advantage of the free shipping promotion (over now, sorry!) and picked up two cleansing balms I've been meaning to review (the battle coming posthaste!) along with some gifts for Mother's Day.  This is my first order from 11st, and I'm not sure I'll be ordering again.  Their shipping would've been astronomical had it not been for the coupon, and I'm kind of disappointed in how they packaged everything.  Also, I didn't get any samples!  What the heck is up with that?  Anyway, on with my haul.

Super speedy delivery!
