Tutorial: How to type in Hangul/Korean on your phone

Ok, this isn't going to be the meatiest of tutorials, but I need it to lead up to the next tutorial, so bear with me.  I translate Korean ingredients.  I don't know a word of Korean (LIE actually, I totally know 추출물 [extract] and 발효여과물 [ferment filtrate] by heart).  I know there's a way to do it on your computer, but for me, it's much easier to use my phone.  So here's a quick tutorial on how to type in Hangul (한국어).

Memebox Mystery Flowers Unboxing

A photo posted by MEMEBOX USA (@memebox_usa) on

Memebox had a little scavenger hunt on their US site recently.  They had 6 flowers in different price ranges scattered around their website, and I got suckered into grabbing all of them.

Whamisa Fruits & Tomato Hydrogel Facial Mask

My second Whamisa mask was not as lovely as my first, unfortunately...  The fit was the same:  very wet and slippery, too short on the forehead, too long on the mouth area.  I used the mouth cut-out as a lip mask, and it seemed to work pretty well, despite being kind of inconvenient (canNOT talk with it on, obviously).  The Fruits & Tomato hydrogel smells intensely like lavender.  Like, I love lavender, but this for me was just a little too much lavender.  It also makes me feel kind of concerned about how much essential oil they put into this thing that my face is soaking up.  But I didn't get any irritation, and my skin was plump and smooth and soft for over 24 hours later, just like my last Whamisa mask.  This did feel drier than the Seeds & Rice hydrogel however.

May The 3B Box Unboxing

This is only sort of an unboxing.  It's a goodbye.  I don't like spending money on surprises every month and getting lame surprises.

Whamisa Seeds & Rice Fermented Hydrogel Facial Mask

Yesssss, one of my higher end hydrogels.  I'm turning into a hydrogel addict, and hoarding everything I can find.  This is actually one of my favorites, despite some flaws.  Warning, this is actually a really long review for a sheet mask, almost as long as one of my regular product reviews.

Memebox Honey Pot Box #beemine Unboxing

Y'all, there's something going on with Memebox lately.  They put out new products, and I buy them without thinking.  That ....is not like me.  They said "Honey" and I just...went straight to checkout.  And then they have this little scavenger hunt thing with these flowers, and I snagged them too.  All of them.  I have a problem.

Hada Labo Shirojyun Arbutin Lotion Review

When I first got started with AB, I discovered Skin & Tonics, and her amazing routines, and the /r/AsianBeauty/ sub on Reddit.  And everybody loves the Hada Labo Gokujyun Hyaluronic Acid Lotion.  So I snagged it off of Amazon, and was prepared to be amazed.  I got blackheads instead.  I still wanted to try Hada Labo, so I kept my eye out, and eventually decided I needed the Hada Labo Shirojyun Arbutin Lotion instead.  It even has better ingredients!

Why can't we test the pH of Oil Cleansers?

I know it's kind of "known" that you can't test pH of oil cleansers at home.  Like, there are industrial tool-mabobs that can test pH, but not something you can just snag on Amazon for fun.  But...is it true?

Missha 3D Red Ginseng Mask AKA The Worst Mask Ever!

OMG, this mask was such a fail.  The fit, the smell, and then the aftermath!  I almost want to avoid Missha masks in general after this, it was so terrible.

su:m37 Miracle Rose Cleansing Stick Review

Guys, I just placed my first Avecko order last night.  I'll talk more about that in another post, but I'm going to start adding the Hangul for each product I review now (and go back and add to old posts), to make it easier for others to look up.  I'm pretty nervous about doing this review, as this is arguably one of the biggest Asian skincare products, and has such a cult following.
